Major hospital systems needed to quickly hire nearly 150 Health IT personnel to successfully support critical Electronic Health Record (EHR) initiatives and projects. Failure to deliver on these initiatives had the potential to cost clients millions of dollars.
Zycron History with Client
Zycron, for several years, had provided professional staffing services which included contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire, and project-based services to support Information Technology, Health IT, and Human Resources.
Leveraging their extensive experience in the healthcare industry along with an in-depth familiarity and domain knowledge of the client, Zycron fully understood the challenge and the need for an outside-the-box solution.
Zycron proposed a “Virtual EHR Recruiting” team that would work alongside the client’s Human Resource team, extending their ability to responsively hire additional HIT personnel.
Zycron’s Virtual EHR Recruiting team was comprised of a team lead, three recruiters, a source, and an administrative assistant. The team was co-located at the client site and Zycron offices, optimizing communication, collaboration, and responsiveness.
The onsite team lead worked closely with a project manager to develop the recruiting plan, establish effective workflows, and prioritize and translate the assignment of job requisitions. By co-locating the Virtual Team, hiring managers and other stakeholders benefitted by having direct access to recruiting resources while also leveraging the administrative support and wealth of recruiting expertise available at the Zycron offices.
This integrated approach resulted in the successful delivery of nearly 150 Health IT resources including informaticists, analysts, clinicians, and leaders.
