All-Star Award Recipient, Cheryl Campbell Wins BiG with BG Staffing

Dallas, Texas- Sept. 16, 2019, The American Staffing Association, also known as the voice of the U.S. staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions, has a great deal to celebrate, as today marks the beginning of National Staffing Employee Week. The annual event celebrates the contributions of the more than 15 million temporary and contract employees hired by U.S. staffing agencies each year.

During this week-long celebration, employees that have made a difference in their roles and their member agencies are awarded and announced to ASA members, the public, the news media and will also be recognized during an award ceremony at Staffing World 2019, held October 15-17, in Las Vegas.

One of those agencies, BG Staffing, Inc., has much to celebrate, too. As one of the nation’s largest staffing firms, there’s no guessing as to how one of their own is making a name for herself across many industries.

Cheryl Campbell worked as a consultant with Vision Technology, a brand under the multi-faceted umbrella of BG Staffing. From April 2018 through April 2019, Campbell worked as a Test Engineer II at Becton Dickinson in Sparks, Maryland, a medical device technology company that focuses on solutions that enhance the diagnosis of infectious diseases, cancer and more.

This week, her dedication and work ethic gained her much recognition as she was announced as the ASA Employee All-Star Award Recipient for the Engineering industry sector. Award winners were recognized from other staffing field areas including technology, health care, industrial, administrative and professional-managerial.

Kristen Carmen, Service Delivery Manager for Vision Technology, says, “Cheryl was the ultimate staffing consultant, and exactly what a company expects coming in the door with the drive to hit the ground running. She successfully represented our team in the best way possible, in addition to leading other teams by example within BD, gaining her, even more, exposure and opportunity.”

More than 3 million temporary and contract employees report for work every week in America’s offices, factories, health care facilities, warehouses, and other job sites. Wherever there’s important work to be done, temporary and contract employees are on the job.
