Alyssa's CloudWorld journey began in September 2022. Reflecting on her first conference, she recalls a memorable experience: attending a partner happy hour at Allē Lounge on the 66th floor of the newly opened Resort World. “The views were breathtaking,” Alyssa said, “It was a perfect blend of networking and incredible scenery. I even took pictures to capture the moment!”
Looking Forward to the 2024 Conference
As she prepares for her third trip to this event, Alyssa is eager to dive into the latest industry trends and Oracle’s market trajectory. “I’m looking forward to understanding where Oracle is headed and how we at BGSF can align our services to meet evolving needs,” she explained.
One of the key aspects Alyssa is excited to explore is the motivation behind companies’ transitions to Oracle Cloud. “I’m passionate about understanding the 'WHY' behind business decisions,” she said. “Learning what drives these transitions will provide valuable insights into the strategic factors influencing cloud adoption.”
Sessions and Networking: What’s on the Agenda
Alyssa has her eyes set on the session titled “Moving to Oracle Cloud? Things to Consider and How to Get Started [THR3822].” This session will offer a deep dive into the practical aspects of cloud migration, which is crucial for her role. “I want to understand the behind-the-scenes processes that our clients face when making the move to the cloud,” she noted. “This knowledge will help us offer better guidance and support.”

Outside of the conference, Alyssa is excited about the entertainment options in Las Vegas. “I’d love to check out a show at The Sphere,” she said. “I’ve heard some incredible performances are happening, and it would be a great way to unwind after the conference activities.”
