Janel Hunt serves as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at BGSF, bringing over 25 years of experience in human resources (HR) and talent acquisition. Since joining BGSF in 2019 as Vice President of People, she has been instrumental in aligning people strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and operational excellence.
Throughout her career, Janel has led HR initiatives in high-growth environments, supporting both organic expansion and mergers and acquisitions. Her expertise includes talent strategy, HR process optimization, and leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects that enhance organizational effectiveness. Before joining BGSF, she held leadership roles in the financial services industry, overseeing human resources functions and driving talent strategies to support business growth.
Earlier in her career, Janel worked in HR consulting and executive recruiting, where she specialized in talent acquisition and leadership placement. This foundation in recruitment provided her with valuable insights into building high-performing teams, which she has carried into her corporate leadership roles.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri and maintains a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
