As a communication, marketing, and operations leader who is passionate about brand strategy and digital transformation, Emily Burroughs prides herself on advancing the brand of a respected company. Agile and a quick study, she constructs and spearheads multiple projects while keeping the big picture in mind. She takes intentional steps to fully understand and improve overall experience while being strategic, game-changing, creative, and data-driven. As a high-energy leader, she dares to embrace imagination and disrupt “what has always been done,” to develop and curate change meant to sustain and thrive. One of Emily’s main goals in life is to make a difference while empowering those around her to join in on the fun.
A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Emily began her career holding a multitude of roles in brand marketing, event planning, and fundraising. Emily was recently named to the Forbes Communication Council, the Staffing Industry Analysts 40 under 40 2021 list and is an Advisor for Leadership Dallas. She volunteers her time to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and any initiatives that help bridge the gap between education and workforce.
Emily loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, playing with her two pugs, meeting new people, learning new things, and believes that laughter is the best medicine in life.
