Chantel Konopka, Technical Recruiter with Zycron
It is so much easier for a recruiter to cut extra information on a resume than add more information since they do not always understand the project scope or what you did. I would always recommend adding project details for any engineers: what exactly did YOU contribute to the project? Use technical terms, how many scrum meetings, what version of .Net/Java did you code, did you focus on the backlogs, did you mentor team members, how much money did you save the company, etc.
The more information and bullet points, the BETTER! Recruiters can omit irrelevant information if necessary. Also, add your number and email at the top for easy access to get contacted. Often on some job boards such as Indeed, generate random emails that the candidates don’t even have access to or realize. So, having your contact information readily at the top will help recruiters reach you much faster. Good luck!
